Transcribed more than 80 reports per day for all imaging services, including x-rays, ultrasound, computer tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, interventional vascular procedures and mammography, for a 450-bed, acute-care hospital and trauma center.

  • Transcribed basic 4 medical records reports (history & physicals, consultations, operations, and discharge summaries).

  • Consistently exceeded radiology reporting production expectations of 6,000 characters per hour as set by the department, with an average typing speed of 120 words per minute.

  • Kept reports within turn-around time according to hospital standards, four hours from dictation to transcription.

  • Random quality assurance checks by the supervisor consistently resulted in no errors.
