  • Oversaw the wastewater pre-treatment equipment, assuring compliance with the Union Sanitary District’s wastewater discharge requirements.

  • Completed and submitted the renewal of the air quality permit, annually, as required by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD).

  • Maintained the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) and permit in accordance with the State Water Resources Control Board.

  • Conducted monthly inspections of the 200,000-square-foot plant, including machine guards, electrical hazards, unsafe acts and improper storage of hazardous materials.

  • Managed the company’s fire prevention equipment, including inspections and sprinkler testing, as required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) state and local regulations.

  • Chaired the monthly Safety Committee Meeting.

  • Conducted new employee safety orientations and OSHA-required training for all employees.

  • Maintained the chemical inventory lists and catalog of material safety data sheets (MSDS).
