Overture Services, Inc.: Provided project management for the Yahoo! systems integration project to combine the business systems of Yahoo! and Overture, consolidating operations of $2.1 billion as well as serving more than 15 domestic and international markets. Image Entertainment: Performed functional consulting support for a DVD distributor and implemented an Oracle Applications (version 11.5.8) system. Provided design specifications for the revised Chart of Accounts and conversion mapping to facilitate the conversion of legacy data and development of new financial reports.

Directed business applications systems for the U.S. division of a U.K.-listed multimedia marketing solutions and brand development company that publishes more than 100 popular consumer- and automotive-oriented magazines, and produces special events and Internet websites with product licensing worldwide. The division’s revenues exceeded $400 million. Managed a staff of ten IT managers and professionals, including DBAs and system analysts with an annual department budget in excess of $2 million.
Directed and coordinated the management of all Oracle database services company-wide, ensuring availability and security. Managed a team of DBAs and determined policies and procedures.
Coordinated the conversion of a custom-developed, Oracle-based, advertising, sales, order entry and receivables system that improved functionality while resolving Y2K issues. The system processed 7,000 invoices a month.
